I’m Sherry Hawkins, the heart and hands behind La Baie De Chocolat. For more than forty years, chocolate has been my creative language and my place of peace. After walking through seasons of loss and renewal, I rediscovered chocolate not just as an art form or a craving, but as a ceremony...a moment of stillness and devotion. From that revelation, Velah Sacred Truffles were born. Clean, intentional confections infused with organic herbs and adaptogens. Each piece is created with prayer and purpose - a small blessing for whoever receives it, and an invitation for you to pause, savor, and remember what lights you up inside! My mission is to craft chocolate that nourishes not just your body, but your soul; to inspire you to create your own sacred vision, whether it’s through art, food, writing, or simply being present to your gifts. So with this first issue of The Chocolate Letter, I welcome you into this circle of sweetness and soul. Here, you’ll find stories, rituals, and little acts of beauty to awaken the creator in you.

The Power of Three Each sequence carried a message:

111 The spark, the beginning of awakening, the reminder that I am divinely guided.

11:11 Became a mirror of alignment, calling me to step forward and live with intention.

777 Revealed itself as divine completion, a number of mastery and spiritual perfection, reminding me that even in loss, there is transformation, and even in endings,

there is divine design.

THE SACRED TRIAD

These numbers: 111, 11:11, and 777, became the sacred triangle of my becoming. Each one a vibration of the Power of Three: Mind, Body, and Soul in perfect harmony. It is the heartbeat behind every truffle, the energy that shapes my collections, and the silent prayer that blesses every creation before it leaves my hands. Intention setting is very important to do when you lie down at night, and when you wake in the morning. Begin with what you’re grateful for, and don’t allow the day to take you...you guide it with your very first and last words of the day:

“I’m grateful for..."

Closing Blessing

 I create not from what I see, but from the soul that moves through me. Each piece a whisper, soft and true, a blessing born in love for you.
